6-channel degasser with ultrahigh vacuum (turbomolecular pump), gas flow (N2) and heat (RT-450C) via separate heating mantles. Temperature and time can be controlled on each port individually using the instrument software. Used to degas samples prior to being put on 3Flex gas adsorption instrument for BET surface area analysis and/or pore size distribution measurement.
Effective degassing via as high temperature as possible (without destroying the sample) and vacuum, at least overnight.
Samples MUST be degassed before being put on the instrument.
